He worked as an anchor and reporter for The Big Game, the station’s weekly sports program, and as the host of the station’s bi-weekly Lion Tracks coaches’ talk show while in Hammond.

Sartori received numerous accolades throughout his time in school, including two student Emmys for his on-camera efforts. In addition, he received a Collegiate Associated Press Award for best sports story in 2019. Sartori has worked as a play-by-play announcer for a variety of teams and networks. On ESPN+, the Southland Conference Digital Network, and Varsity Sports Now, he has called football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

During the 2017-18 season, Sartori was the voice of Southeastern Lady Lion basketball, and in the summer of 2019, he was the first voice of Fremont Moo baseball, a collegiate summer baseball team based in Fremont, Nebraska. When he’s not at work, John likes to watch sports and spend time with his friends and family. He is thrilled to join the KTAL team and is looking forward to covering sports in ArkLaTex.
