Hunt is a FOX News Channel lead correspondent stationed in Los Angeles (FNC). In 2002, he began working for the network as an international reporter stationed in Los Angeles. He covered the protests in New York City in 2014 after the decision not to indict police officers in the deaths of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and husband and father Eric Garner in Staten Island, New York.

He has previously covered the ongoing Syrian crisis, the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy in New Jersey, and the impact of an EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. Hunt offered live reports from Mobile, Alabama during Hurricane Sally in 2020 as the storm surged. In addition, he offered live coverage from the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone in Seattle, Washington, encircling the protests in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Prior to this, Hunt gave live coverage of Special Operator First Class Corey Scott’s trial in San Diego, California in 2019. Hunt also contributed to FNC’s coverage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first child, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, as well as the Royal Wedding, which took place at Westminster Abbey.

He has covered the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq for the network, including being the first Fox correspondent to walk inside the deadly city of Fallujah. He’s also spent a lot of time covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, spending months in Israel and Gaza.
