She holds the National Weather Association’s (NWA) Seal of Approval. Broughton is a strong volunteer in the community. For 2 years and 10 months (August 2009 – May 2012), she served on the Board of Directors for the Orlando Gay Chorus. Broughton is an animal lover who is passionate about animal welfare.
