She holds the National Weather Association’s (NWA) Seal of Approval. Broughton is a strong volunteer in the community. For 2 years and 10 months (August 2009 – May 2012), she served on the Board of Directors for the Orlando Gay Chorus.
Broughton is an animal lover who is passionate about animal welfare. She has assisted numerous animals to find their “forever homes” via her efforts with Pet Rescue by Judy.
