The suburbs of Philadelphia are his native home and while he was in high school he was well known for his weather predictions. His journalism career began in Davenport, Iowa where he forecasted weather for an array of local stations across the country. After spending a period of five years at WCBD, WSAV’s sister station in Charleston, South Carolina, he joined Storm Team 3 in August 2016.

He covered everything from tropical storms to ice storms to tornadoes to the historic flooding of 2015, while he worked in Charleston. Aside from his career, he is a successful musician as he started taking piano lessons while in Kindergarten, and by sixth grade, was hired to play his first wedding. In addition, he was invited by Barry Manilow on stage to accompany him and his band at a concert in Las Vegas in 2015.
