While serving as an anchor and reporter she has worked across the globe in major cities including New York City and London. She seeks out opportunities to cover any and all stories as she has covered the Red Carpet, covered the 2017 Tony Award Show, and worked on an in-depth piece about 9/11.
She attended Brigham Young University and also worked for the local PBS station in Utah where she served as an anchor, producer, and reporter. While she was in the station, she received the Mark of Excellence Award for her work in hard news, features, anchoring, and in-depth reporting.
Since she was 3 years old, she would perform on the piano as she loves music. In addition, she soloed with the Utah Symphony in 2013 and performed in the 2002 Winter Olympics as she is an advocate for arts. Furthermore, while she served as a Youth Ambassador for the Utah Symphony, she has the opportunity to teach the value of good music and the classical arts across the state of Utah.
In 2018, she was named the Broadcast Education Associations Best News Anchor as she is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Music. Prior to receiving three student production Emmy nominations while she was in college. During her leisure time, she enjoys exploring new places to meet people from all walks of life, trying out new recipes, serving her local community, or with her camera.
