In addition, her journalism career began at the CBS affiliate in Abilene, Texas where she was the weekend anchor/reporter. Furthermore, while she resided and worked in Abilene she fell in love with West Texas and is happy to be back!
During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, enjoying a bottle of good wine, trying out a new restaurant, reading a good book, running, and working out. Furthermore, she loves getting involved in the community by supporting a number of organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Ronald McDonald House of the Southwest, High Point Village, and many more.
