Stouffer graduated from San Marcos High School in the year 1988, and then joined the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, on a scholarship of Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication from the university in the year 1992. Stouffer serves at WSB-TV as a Weekday Morning News Anchor. She first began as an anchor of the 6 pm news and the Action News Nightbeat on Sundays. Also, she filed stories for the News at 5 pm and 6 pm on weekdays. Before coming to WSB, she spent 12 years working for CNN Networks. There, she worked as a News Anchor CNN Headline News, where she covered everything from presidential elections to 9-11 attacks to the capture of Saddam Hussein to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to hurricanes Rita and Katrina.

Before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, she was in Miami, Florida, working for a Fox-affiliated station, WSVN-TV as a News Reporter/Anchor. Prior to that, she was working for a dual NBC/CW-affiliated TV station in San Antonio, Texas, KMOL (now WOAI), as a News Reporter/Anchor.
