Spooner serves at NBC2 as a Morning News Anchor. Previously, she was working for CBS 19 Eyewitness in Tyler, Texas as a host for The Daily Buzz, the nationally syndicated morning show. At CBS 19, she had exclusive interviews with some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood, such as Jared Leto, Colin Farrell, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Connelly, and Jennifer Garner. Also, she served as the morning news anchor, where she covered everything from the Boston Marathon bombings to the explosion in West, Texas. 

A proud alumnus of Texas A&M University, Spooner graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the university and started her TV career at a station in Houston. There, she served as a primary anchor. Thereafter, she moved to Tyler, Texas now to work for CBS 19 Eyewitness News. At CBS 19, Spooner began as a news anchor of Primetime at 5, then made a transition to the 6 pm, 6:30 pm, and 10 pm newscasts, as well as working as a Managing Editor. She held the evening shift for some years then moved to the morning shift. Later on, she now joined NBC2.  Spooner has also worked in Southwest Florida, where she was hired by Fox 4 after leaving Texas. There she was an anchor of the morning show. 

Spooner holds the title of Miss Texas, which she won in the year 2002, and finished that fall on the nationally televised Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. She also voted as a Top Ten Finalist and won a preliminary interview award during the Miss America Pageant.
