Initially, Lukert served as a sales representative at Merial, a Sanofi Company in Duluth, GA from January 2015 to March 2017. He previously worked at Winter Park Resort as a ski instructor from December 2013 to May 2014.

Before joining Winter Park Resort, Lukert worked as a caregiver for a youth diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at Dooley Family from June 2011 to December 2013 in Athens Georgia.
