While still a student at the University of Georgia, Meredith began his journalism career. Mark worked as an intern for CNN’s The Situation Room from May to August 2007. He also worked for NBC News for three months as an intern. Mark worked as an intern for NBC Nightly News, Today, and Dateline. Mark is a FOX News Channel correspondent stationed in Washington, D.C. (FNC). In May of this year, he joined the network and he covers breaking news and politics around the Washington area.

Meredith worked as a White House correspondent for the Media General and Nexstar Station Groups before joining FNC, where he presented news stories to over 70 television stations around the country. He interviewed significant newsmakers in this position, including President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and senior congressional leaders like Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Mark Warner (D-VA) (D-VA). He also aided in the formation of Media General’s Washington bureau in the run-up to the 2016 election.

Meredith worked as a reporter for KDVR-TV (FOX) and KWGN-TV (CW) in Denver, Colorado, where he covered some of the country’s most important stories. During the horrific movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado in 2012, he was one of the first reporters on the site. He also covered the massive wildfires and floods that wreaked havoc on the state in 2013. His work earned him the Colorado Broadcasters Association’s award for Best Breaking News Coverage Under Deadline Pressure.
