Prior to joining FOX43, Matt spent more than seven years as a sports reporter and sports director at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA. While there, among other stories, he wrote on the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal at Penn State and the Pirates returning to the postseason in 2013.
When coming to his education, Matt graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, where classmates found him doing news and sports programs for WHIP-TV’s in-house television station in the morning. He is also a graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
