She began her career in  Des Moines, Los Angelos at ABC where she served as a broadcast meteorologist during the Great Flood of 1993.

She traveled east to Scranton, Pennsylvania to work for CBS in 1994 later on in 1995, she joined FOX Indianapolis. Furthermore, in 2001, he received America’s Award for TV Weather at the International Weather Festival in Paris, France. In addition, she holds the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association since 1993, and the American Meteorological Society prior to being active in weather and climate. During her leisure time, she enjoys sewing, reading, cooking, and baking. In addition, she is also an active Girl Scout leader and a former PTO president.
