Estime started his career at WWJ-TV CBS Detroit via the Emma L. Bowen Foundation (EBF) behind the scenes and was awarded a 5-year CBS News work/study scholarship. The EBF gave him the opportunity to work with meteorologists from New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Detroit across the country. When coming to his education, Estime graduated from the University of Central Michigan (CMU) and earned a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Meteorology.
