While in college, she worked for OU Nightly, a student-run newscast as a Weather Anchor before making her way up to Senior Weather Producer for nearly 2 and half years (January 2020 – May 2022). Smith has worked for the CBS affiliate, KXII-TV in Sherman, Texas as a meteorologist forecasting weather for Texoma, where she covered the weather in both Texas and Oklahoma.
