For decades, Hyle was a basketball season ticket holder. Ruzzi says that when when you are doing what you like, somehow time flies by. The greatest sports day he ever had was going to game five of the 1971 World Series with his dad. His mother made subs and the Pirates shut out the Orioles.

Ruzzi has got a chance to give back rather than to receive for having been working on Television. He is a member of the Erie City Special Olympics, the Barber National Institute’s annual All-Star baseball game, and the CMN Telethon. The organization has been much rewarding.
