Adams says that when you work, live, and raise your family in the same community as your viewers, it is easy to decide what stories to cover and how to cover them. She has been waiting to report and anchor in her hometown for decades, it is her pleasure.

The same year she got her first on-air job at WICU12 serving as their director of live news broadcasts. After a short period of time, she moved to producing, anchoring, and reporting the news. She has been able to use the education part of her degree too, teaching Confirmation Class at my church, and teaching courses in the Communications Department at Gannon University.

Adams has won that inquisitive nature, I’ve earned PA Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards for enterprise and cooperative reporting, Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters awards for the 60th anniversary of WICU – Erie’s pioneer television station, and documentaries on Erie’s connection to the September 11th tragedy. In addition, she received the PA Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards for enterprise and cooperative reporting.

During her free time, she not only likes skiing but also cooking, traveling, as well as finding great restaurants together with her husband Scott. Ballroom dancing is their new venture, they are out on the dance floor trying their new moves.
