Before her tenure at WSB-TV, she worked at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City where she served as a reporter and fill-in anchor from April 2003 to August 2005. She started her journalism career at KAMR-TV/KCIT-TV where she served as the reporter and weekend anchor in Amarillo, Texas.
