Rosie graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 2016. In August 2020, Rosie Langello joined the 12 Sports team as a reporter. Prior to joining WPRI, Rosie worked as a sports reporter/anchor at WTAJ in Altoona, PA, where she was honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters for her reporting on WTAJ’s high school football show, Sportsbeat.
During her stint at WTAJ, she covered Penn State athletics, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Saint Francis University, and high school sports. Rosie worked as a news anchor and producer in Altoona on a regular basis. She also worked as a news producer/digital media manager at WBRE/WYOU in Wilkes-Barre, during her first year out of graduate school.
Rosie, who grew up in Central Pennsylvania, is ecstatic to be so near to Rhode Island’s state beaches. She can be seen reading on the beach, sprinting down Blackstone Boulevard, or shooting hoops.
