In August 2004, he was among the forecast team that watched historic Category 4 Hurricane Charley make landfall in Southwest Florida. When he arrived in South Florida he made ample use of his skills to forecast the hurricanes Wilma wreaked, and Katrina havoc across our community. Ever since he assisted South Florida through close calls with 2016’s Matthew and 2017’s Irma.
He has also worked in Central Nebraska at KHGI for more than three years serving as a meteorologist and the Associated Press of Nebraska recognized his work. Ohio is his native home. The National Weather Association awarded him with the Seal of Approval.
Together with his family, they fund a national scholarship for undergraduate college students majoring in meteorology. In addition, he is a member of the American Meteorological Society and is Certified by it as a Broadcast Meteorologist while holding a designation.
