She says that that was her REAL introduction to what big-time college football was like. While at KOKH, she covered the Oklahoma City Thunder, as well as 2 major D1 programs in Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Her most memorable moment is when she went to cover the NBA finals (Game 6 WCF against Golden State –heartbreak city).

Before going to KOKH, she was in Lake Charles, Louisiana working for KPLC-TV as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter for 2 years. That s where she began her broadcasting career. Gannon has interned as a Production Assistant at NBC Connecticut in Hartford for about one and a half years. There, she learned how to shoot, write and edit, as well as absorb as many facets of the news department as possible. She filled in for the main sports producer whenever needed, and was the Saturday sports producer. In addition, Gannon edited and wrote sports stories for air and shot game highlights, and conducted interviews.
