The South Texas native previously resided in Sacramento, California where she worked at FOX40 as a morning reporter. While at the station, she covered forest fires as breaking news, flooding, and snow.

After she had graduated college, she began her career at Corpus Christi Caller-Times where she served as a newspaper reporter. In addition, she also covered local and entertainment news on a multi-media platform, creating her own position and brand for a niche on local happenings.

Furthermore, she began working at KIII-3News from 2013 to 2016 and while she was at the station, she served as a morning reporter after she left the station, she worked in Sacramento where she served as a morning reporter. In addition, while she was in high school, she spent most of her time as an athlete competing in tennis, cross country, and track.

In 2006, she graduated from King High School and she began playing tennis on the SMU Women’s Tennis team. Additionally, while she was in college, she interned at; the Texas Tribune, NBC-DFW, the Dallas Morning News, and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times

She considers herself a “retired” tennis player, but will still pick up a racket every now and then and occasionally amuses herself by attempting half-marathons and other races. Furthermore, she is big dog fun and her dog Scooby is certified through Go Teams Crisis and Airport Therapy Dogs.
