Scott Budman Heart Attack
In around September 2018, Budman announced that he suffered a heart attack, stating that the attack occurred early on September 3 of that year. He had open heart surgery following the attack. Budman described the symptoms starting after a family hike in Point Reyes and a 2-hour drive home. He mentioned that the heart attack was a 1st-time experience requiring hospitalization. Budman expressed that his prognosis is good, but the recovery will take time. However, he recovered and he is now in good health.
