From there, she went to serve as a midday radio host at WBAL in Baltimore, a co-host of the morning show at WKSZ-FM, and a morning show co-host at WSTW in Wilmington, Delaware. Also, she served as producer and host of the popular “Magic After Dark” at WMGK in Philadelphia.
Serio is a proud 5-time Emmy nominee, which was nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. In November 1994, the Academy honored Serio when she received the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award for weathercaster. Serio also holds the Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University, which she received in June of 1995.
