Throughout her career at Oklahoma, she has covered everything from 2 of Oklahoma State’s most notorious executions to the aftermath of the deadly Moore tornado in the year 2013 to the devastating 2012 Creek County wildfires. In the years 2015 and 2018, she was voted Tulsa Press Club’s “Favorite Anchor/Reporter” by viewers. She has also been awarded by the Tulsa Press Club in the year 2018, for “Best Use of Social Media by an Individual”.
Maune is a noodler. Noodling is the act of catching fish, especially catfish, with only one’s bare hands. Catching a 52-pound flathead is her biggest catch so far. Noodling has been Maune’s favorite hobby, and she has been referred to as “the noodling news reporter” by viewers. When she is not chasing the news, she likes rooting for Oklahoma State Cowboys.
