Renck serves at Denver7 News as a National Baseball Writer. He joined the station as its Broncos insider and sportscaster. He leads the station’s NFL coverage and is as well the lead anchor for Denver7 Sunday Sports shows. From 2002 to 2016, Renck worked at the Denver Post before joining television.

In 2005 he added National Major League Basketball reporting to his duties as the Rockies’ beat writer. He joined The Post Broncos beat in 2014, and in 2015 he took charge as the lead reporter during the team’s Super Bowl season.
