Troy Renck Career
From 2002 to 2016, Renck worked at the Denver Post before joining television. In 2005 he added National Major League Basketball reporting to his duties as the Rockies’ beat writer. In 2014 he joined The Post Broncos beat and in 2015 he took charge as the lead reporter during the team’s Super Bowl season.

In 1993 he graduated with honors from the University of the Colorado journalism school, since his graduation he has worn twenty-five local and national writing awards. He is a former president of the local chapter of the Basketball Writers Association of America.
For one year he worked at Today’s Daily News in Lake Havasu City as the sports editor after three years of covering CU athletics for the Colorado Daily, later in 1994 through 1996 he worked at The Yuma Daily Sun. He worked as a reporter and columnist at the Daily Times-Call in Longmont after his return to Colorado. Renck was a national NFL columnist for Broadband sports for seven months before joining in 2001 MLB.com as the Rockies’ beat reporter for one season.
