Ever since Ryan started her journalism career, she has managed to enclose several major stories and weather catastrophes including Hurricanes Francis, Irma, Charlie, Jean, and Ivan. Some of the high-profile events she has covered include the 2008 Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Championship, the 2004 Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series, several years of live coverage of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, and the 2012 Republican National Convention.
