Adams serves as a weekend meteorologist at ABC Action News/WFTS. He had also worked for other networks prior to joining WFTS-TV. For instance, he previously worked at WCPO-TV where he served as the weekend morning meteorologist from December 2014 to August 2017. During his tenure there, he was in charge of the weekends from 5:00 am – 7:00 am, then 8:00 am – 9:00 am weather forecasts. He also designed, created, and reported graphics for the station.
Prior to that, he previously worked at WEYI-NBC25 where he served on the weekdays from 5:00 am to 7:00 am weather broadcasts. In addition to that, he also served as the co-anchor of the relaunched morning show “NBC25 Today.” He also did live reports from special events as well as utilizing all platforms of social media including Facebook, Twitter as well as blogs. Prior to his tenure at WEYI – NBC25, he previously worked at 5NEWS where he served as a morning meteorologist from January 2010 till his departure in October 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. While at 5NEWS, he was in charge of the morning and noon broadcasts from 4:30 am to 8:00 am & Noon. In addition to this role, he also served as the co-anchor of the morning show, ” Wake Up With 5NEWS.” In addition to that, he also served enclosed breaking weather (blizzards/tornadoes) in and out of the studio.
Prior to his tenure at 5NEWS, he previously worked at WTXL ABC27 where he served as the morning, noon, and weekend meteorologist. In addition to these roles, he also served as an anchor three days a week from 5:30 am to 7:00 am and every weekend at 6:30 pm and 11:00 pm. He also filled in for the morning and chief meteorologists on regular basis. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys busking at the beach and has a passion for sea turtle, shark, and manatee conservation.
