Zach Klein is an American Sports Director/Anchor/Reporter working for WSB-TV since joining the station in June of 2008. He currently anchors the sportscasts for Sports Zone Sunday, Channel 2 Action News at 6, and the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat. Also on weekdays, he directs Bulldogs Gameday and Bulldogs Gameweek, the University of Georgia program.

Klein serves at WSB-TV as a Sports Director/Anchor. In addition to his duties at WSB, he serves as a co-host of the Macy’s Tree Lighting show, as well as WSB-TV’s “Georgia Salutes America” July 4th primetime special, alongside Jovita Moore, a News Anchor. From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jeff Schultz, together with Klein, launched the podcast, “We Never Played the Game” in the year 2016. Before joining WSB, Klein was in Orlando working for Cox sister station WFTV(an ABC-affiliated) for 5 years. 

Klein got his start at WDAF-TV, a Fox-affiliated TV station in Kansas City. He spent one year there working as a Sports Producer. After that, he was a reporter of sports in high school, college, and even professional sports. In June 1999, he went to work for KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City, where he served as a Sports Director. 

He holds numerous Emmy and Associated Press awards for his work as a sports reporter, as well as a sports anchor. Klein is on the board of the First Tee Atlanta and works as an announcer on the first tee of the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
