Lorenzo serves at WFTV as a News/Traffic Anchor/Reporter. Before joining WFTV, she worked for WHBQ FOX13 in Memphis, Tennessee as a news reporter for 1 and a half years (May 2018 – September 2019). Before that, she served at NPR in Gainesville, Florida as a Morning Edition Anchor and Producer for 2 years and 4 months (Feb 2016 – May 2018). There she was responsible for hosting live segments with field reporters on the scene, and for 14 newscasts. She also trained students serving as associate producers within the Innovation News Center. 

Lorenzo was responsible for the coverage of the visit of Richard Spencer (a white nationalist) to Florida, and for that, she earned an Associated Press (AP) award. For a documentary on a woman who struggles with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and who found an innovative way to continue her craft, Lorenzo was recognized with an Edward R. Murrow Award.
