There, he experienced different types of wild weather, including tornadoes, hail, blizzards, bitter cold, severe weather, and strong windstorms. These experiences, along with watching the Weather Channel 24/7, made his passion for weather grow. He decided to study the weather in 3rd grade at Towne Acres Elementary when Chief Meteorologist Mark Reynolds, a local TV meteorologist, came to speak to his class.
