In Austin, Texas, she began doing traffic and was actually KVUE’s first traffic anchor. Speaking about her career, she said that to be effective in traffic, there are a lot of different moving parts: you have to establish good connections with the major traffic institutions across the city, have a good sense of direction, and translate that on the green screen. Speaking of the green screen, on its own, that is a whole different thing.
When coming to her education, she is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is the first to graduate from a university in her family. She says that working with nothing behind her viewers, just a green wall, is already challenging enough. Then, for their graphics, incorporate motion and coordination.
