She attended a private Christian college, Hope College, based in the Netherlands, Michigan. In 2004, she first attended school and remained active with organizations such as the volleyball intramural team. She also studied abroad in Ireland. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree following a double major in communication and creative writing. Christine took a job right after graduation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She worked there for WZZM 13, the area’s local news station. She hosted Take Five & Co., a lifestyle show where she talked about current trends in events, fitness, and fashion.
