He’s an American Meteorological Society member and she has been designated with that organization’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of Approval. While he watched storms roll into their Western Ohio farm with his father and his dad tried to get him to say Cumulonimbus (a thunderstorm cloud), his love for weather began when he was only three years old.
In his career as a meteorologist, he has been awarded three Emmy awards for technical achievement in building augmented reality weathercasts, interactivity, and one for the weather. During his downtime, he enjoys spending the day with his children while working in the garden and also running. Furthermore, he is a member of the Columbus Westside Runnin Club and so far he has been able to complete three marathons.
