There she reported on stories revolving around Colorado such as the tragic mass shooting at a Boulder supermarket, wildfires, and high-profile court cases.
She found her passion for writing while growing up. When she was 9 years old, her first writing work was published in a book. She was so impressed and therefore her storytelling passion blossomed into journalism, which has taken her on a memorable and cross-country journey.
Silver began her broadcast journalism career at WVFS-TV in Tallahassee, Florida where she worked as a news anchor/reporter for one year. While in college, she interned at NBC 6 South Florida in Miami for 4 months (May 2013 – August 2013). There she assisted an experienced crew of investigative journalists in sharing integral local stories that brought a positive impact to the neighbors they served.
In the year 2014, Silver went to Bemidji, Minnesota to work for the PBS-owned station, KAWE Lakeland News as an Evening News Reporter/Anchor. She spent almost a year there. After that, she joined KSNB (NBC) in Lincoln, Nebraska where she worked as an Evening News Anchor. From there, he now went to work for KKTV.
During her leisure, she likes traveling, hanging out with her loved ones (family and friends), listening to music, and going to movie theatres. Her favorite food is Italian food; fav film to watch is Top Gun, fav songs to play are country, pop, and Classic rock music; and she is looking forward to visiting London.
