On a personal note, as an anchor/reporter at WAND-TV (NBC) in Central Illinois, he got his first on-air break. From there, it was back to his home state, where an anchor/reporter for KREM-TV (CBS), he served the viewers of the Inland Northwest. Prior to joining the ABC7 News team, he worked at KXTV, the ABC affiliate in Sacramento, as a weekend morning anchor and general assignment reporter.
When coming to his education, he graduated from Washington University, where he studied political science and communication. He loves interacting with people from all walks of life when he meets Super Bowl MVPs or daily superstars. His family decided to get out of the heat of the summer, and the mall became our place to relax as a result. It was a short-lived ice hockey career, but his passion for the Bay Area never went anywhere.
He loves trying out new restaurants outside the newsroom, and as a result, he can often be seen burning off these extra calories at the gym. He completed a number of half marathons and, in the near future, he had his eyes set on completing a full course.
