He says that he can’t forget the day that changed his concept of the weather very well. It was on May 6, 1975, that his house was ripped apart by an F4 tornado. The path ripped through his residential area. The howling sounds of powerful winds through the trees, the cries of the other children, and the curtains spinning around the bed.
His family spent no time filling security positions in their house’s basement. It was a career awakening experience for Mike, despite being a frightening experience for some. Mike’s curiosities were ignited at the age of six with an urgent need to understand how this tornado could bring one house down to its base, though not just a few feet away from hitting another house. And this is how Mike, the scientist, came to emerge.
Mike produces and publishes material that is multimedia and linear. Weather, although also venturing into other sciences, is his specialty. His interests apply equally to the well-being of animals and children. He ventures into social pop culture trends much of the time. Over the years, he volunteers his time several times a year to bring visibility, action, and financial support to reputable organizations.
