Before joining ABC7NY, she worked for CBS Philly|KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a news reporter for 2 years and 3 months. While there, she covered breaking and feature stories, contributed enterprise stories, and general assignment stories. She covered an investigative story that was nominated for an Emmy Award and led to a change in fire escape inspection regulations in Philadelphia.

Before going to KYW, she served at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton as a news reporter and multimedia journalist for 3 years and 2 months. While there, she covered significant events such as the fight to close Wilkes-Barre City Hall in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the rare tornado devastation, and the presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the year 2016.

Cranmore holds a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for covering a series of reports that included the battle to close City Hall. Also, she holds a citation, which she received from The Pennsylvania House of Representatives for her community service efforts. Cranmore began her TV news career at Spectrum News in Corning, New York, where she worked as a reporter. While there, she questioned a murder suspect and he confessed to the crime on camera.  With that, she earned a memorable exclusive.
