Haubert serves at 13 ABC as a sports anchor/reporter. As a news photographer, Haubert started his broadcasting career on Channel 24 while a senior at Bowling Green State University. He was working from 1996-1999 as a sports reporter/photographer for WTOL-TV, Channel 11. He then went to Roanoke, Va., and then Raleigh, N.C., where he worked as a sports anchor/reporter/photographer for the weekend.
Haubert returned in 2003 to Toledo and WNWO. After a 35-year career at the station, General Manager Rick Lipps pegged him to succeed Jim Tichy as the station’s sports director at the NBC affiliate when Tichy retired. When coming to his education, Haubert is a Maumee High School graduate
