He has covered the World Series, NBA Finals, NCAA Baseball and Basketball Championships, NASCAR races, the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, and minor league baseball throughout his broadcasting career. Hosting Football Friday and Basketball Friday was one of Justin’s favorite aspects of the work. It’s also where he can interact all over the viewing area with the high school population.
Before joining 13abc, he held Sports Anchor / Reporter roles at WSET-TV in Roanoke / Lynchburg, Virginia, and WOAY-TV in Beckley, West Virginia. He was Sports Director of the Ohio TV station, WOUB, during his years there and reported for the Emmy award-winning Gridiron Glory, a high school football broadcast.
