Weisfeld serves WMBF as an evening anchor. He joined the station in March 2016 and has served the station for more than half a decade. Previously, he served in Columbia at WOLO as a weeknight anchor at 6 and 11 p.m. for five years.

He began his on-air job in the small of Hopkinsville, Kentucky more than 2 decades ago. WWAG (TV-43) employed him as a producer and finally, he was the station’s main evening anchor. The station won the Best Low Power Station award in the country during his term as an anchor there. He headed to WEHT in Evansville, Indiana to serve as an anchor.

A few years later he spent in Raleigh, North Carolina at WLFL serving as an anchor and also launching the investigative unit. Weisfeld hosted and produced a documentary about troubled youth, that won an Edward R. Murrow Regional Award. During his time in North Carolina, he was introduced to hurricanes for the time, reporting from the Outer Banks Hurricane Bonnie.

Weisfeld was lucky enough in 2000, he was able to go back to his hometown of Indianapolis. He anchored the news for seven years and at RTV6 he was an investigative reporter. He spent weeks in New York following the September 11 terror attacks while in Indianapolis. The morning following the attack, Weisfeld was the first Indianapolis anchor to report live from New York City. In the sunny Southwest at WBBH and WZVN (sister stations) in Fort Myers, he anchored news during the mornings.
