During his time in Albany, he provided coverage for Capital Region sports for two years, with one of the biggest spotlights going to Atlantic City to broadcast the MAAC basketball tournament in 2022.
Jared began his career as a sports writer for Channel1450.com in Springfield, Illinois, covering local high school sports in Central Illinois. His two and a half years there exposed him to the enthusiasm small communities have for local sports, and he intends to capture more of that passion in the Capital Region by sharing tales.
Jared is originally from Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Jared has had the opportunity to cover College GameDay between Temple and Notre Dame, the 2017 NFL Draft, and the College World Series during his time in school and after. Outside of athletics, Jared enjoys listening to and discovering new music, discovering the greatest places to eat and drink in the city, and will never say no to some pick-up basketball.
