Araiza serves as a weekend morning anchor and reporter at WFTS-TV. Ever since she joined the station, she has managed to enclose several stories that hit the headlines all across the states and beyond. She went to Puerto Rico in 2020  and enclosed the earthquakes that rocked the unstable island.

Araiza had also worked for other stations prior to joining WFTS. For instance, she previously worked at WKMG News 6 where she served as a reporter from August 2016 to August 2019 in Orlando, Florida. Prior to that, she previously worked at Raycom Media where she served as a reporter as well as an anchor in Birmingham, Alabama. From September 2007 to October 2011, she worked at WTVY where she served as an anchor and a reporter based in Dothan, AL.

Araiza started off her career at Sinclair Broadcast Group where she served as a production assistant from May 2005 till her departure in August 2007. While there, she was in charge of operating studio equipment for daily newscasts as well as assisting reporters, anchors, and producers in writing scripts for daily newscasts. She also enjoys volunteering in several organizations and companies including Better Basics as a reading advocate from August 2014 to August 2016. She is also an active volunteer and member of The Junior League of Tampa since June 2019.

In addition to that, she is also a member of the Board of Directors at EmpowHERment since February 2022. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also served as a hospice foster for Second Chance Friends animal rescue during the Covid-19 pandemic.
