Guy serves at WESH 2 as the co-anchor of News Sunrise and at Noon. His career began at the age of 18, as the host of the Fox affiliate’s weekly teen program in Mobile, Ala. He also hosted one of the Gulf Coast’s top-rated morning shows on WBHY-FM mobile radio station during that period. Before joining a local video production company, he worked on the radio for many years.

His attention switched to reality TV after that. In 2002, in the third season of the CBS reality show Big Brother, he auditioned for and won a spot as a ‘ houseguest’ (a.k.a. competitor). He made it to the “final three” of that show and, with an overwhelming 82 percent of the viewer vote, was called the most popular houseguest. Jason worked in casting for NBC’s The Biggest Loser, the Beauty of CW, and the Nerd and The Amazing Race on CBS following the show.

Then, before becoming a reporter and fill-in anchor, he joined WRIC-TV in Richmond, Va., as a traffic reporter. Until joining WESH 2 News in September 2009, he was at WRIC for more than three years. Co-anchor Meredith McDonough of Jason and WESH 2 News anchored breaking coverage of a high-speed car chase that led to an Associated Press award and an Emmy award. For 40 minutes, the live coverage unfolded and ended when the suspect T-boned another car at an intersection.
