At the same time, she also interned for the Golf Channel; her experiences at both locations consolidated her passion for broadcasting.
Prior to WESH, as a Traffic Reporter / Fill-In Anchor, Jaclyn worked at WCPO in Cincinnati, Ohio. She covered a number of stories while at The Queen Capital, including the horrific shooting of the Fifth Third Bank. Before that, at WLOS in Asheville, N.C., she held a similar position. When coming to her education, Jaclyn has a degree in broadcast journalism (Go Gators!) from the University of Florida with a Magna Cum Laude degree.
Jaclyn loves a good sports story; early in her career, she turned to feature stories for FOX Sports Florida. She was on the university dance team for four years while attending UF and traveled to the Final Four in Dallas with the men’s basketball team. For the Cincinnati Bengals, she continued her passion for acting as a Ben-Gal cheerleader for two seasons. As an in-game host for the Cincinnati Reds, Jaclyn also fostered her love for sports.
