Jeff won a national talent search just months after graduation, allowing him to travel to the NBA All-Star Game as the league’s “All-Star Reporter.” He was able to perform one-on-one interviews with celebrities such as James Harden, Tony Parker, Anthony Davis, and others while he was there. Jones started working for WOAI in San Antonio as a sports reporter and anchor in 2014.
He learned to juggle the demands of covering a professional NBA team, college sports, and a number of high school teams while there. Jones loves working out, watching movies, and cheering on his beloved Auburn Tigers (it’s a long story, but he’s a big fan) when he’s not on the news.
