He also exposed the Pike County Sheriff’s Office’s failure to secure major pieces of evidence in the case.
When coming to his education, he graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism. Speaker Bobby Harrell resigned from office and criminal charges related to his campaign spending were opened during Barr’s investigative time covering South Carolina’s capital city. His search for a broadcasting channel dedicated to in-depth investigative led him to KXAN. During his leisure time, he enjoys spending his time listening to Waylon Jennings and welding in his garage.
