She grew up in Wellsville. Her dream job in her home country is thrilled, Erin. Erin graduated from Utah State University and is proud to call herself an Aggie through and through a girl in Cache Valley. She is a multimedia reporter (MMJ), meaning she is not only a reporter but her own photographer and editor.

Erin was an independent picture maker for all the Salt Lake City TV stations in Cache Valley before he joined the Fox13 Team. The first Women’s March in Washington D.C. for Utah PublicRadio was covered in 2017 by Erin, President Trump’s Openness Ceremony, a prize-winning SPJ Mark of Excellence award news item in 2017.

Later that year she returned to the East Coast to work as an intern at Senate in communications. Erin’s reporting on investigations in the USU was awarded a three-part Emmy sexual assault series in 2018. She’s a triple nominee for Emmy. In 2020, after almost 2 years of investigating gambling issues in Utah.

She was first awarded by the Utah Society of Professional Journalists in TV Criminal Justice. Erin is the only bilingual Cantonese-speaking reporter in Utah. She spent 18 months living in Hong Kong China and was in love with the culture, language, and people.

Erin has researched and co-authored an award-winning paper on women and constitutional defenses in Utah while he studied journalism and political science at Utah State University. If she doesn’t follow a story, Erin is able to enjoy her family time, walk, study Utah’s history, and serve her community.
