He also worked at WXXA on Channel 8, hosting “Monday Night Quarterback,” a weekly Albany Firebirds broadcast, and presented a pre-game and half-time Boston Celtics games show.

The first work of the journalist at WNYT was reporting from the “Operations Center.” He was assigned all night to listen to police and fire scanners and call the police. At the beginning of the 11 o’clock news, he would then go on air with a 1-minute update and then another update at the end.
