He has traveled across the globe and has shared the stories of the people of Tampa Bay. Over the years with FOX 13, he has earned recognition from Ground Zero in New York for his report on Hurricane Katrina. He has also won an Emmy Award for covering devastating tornadoes in Alabama from the scene of Orlando’s Pulse nightclub shooting.
Wilson’s standout assignments came about in the year 2005 when he embedded with a group of United States Army Reservists during the height of the Iraq war. He got an invite to the White House in the year 2011 for an exclusive interview with President Barrack Obama.
