Finn serves at Fox News Channel (FNC) as a national correspondent based in Chicago, Illinois. He began working with Fox News in 2013 as an Ailes Junior Reporter based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has covered the death of the popular singer, Prince, Finn recorded live from Minnesota. In addition, he reported big news stories for the network, including the demonstrations involving the murder of Laquan McDonald and the 2016 general election in the streets of Chicago. He has written thoroughly on the death of Lt. Joe Gliniewicz, the Fox Lake police chief, who faked his own suicide to look like a murder.
He had previously covered the original Bundy ranch showdown in the Nevada desert while located in Las Vegas. Finn was a reporter and anchor at KIMA-TV in Washington and a producer and stand-in reporter at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, PA, prior to joining FNC. Finn is the recipient of many honors, including two independent Society of Professional Journalists’ investigative reporting awards and the Peter Lisagor prize for in-depth reporting.
He studied at the Fox School of Business as a PR reporter for the Dean’s Office, a Philadelphia street reporter for the Philadelphia Communities, a WRTI radio student intern, a reporter for The Temple News, as well as an NBC 10 semester anchor intern. When coming to his education, Finn obtained a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in journalism.
